The Three Steps of Resilience

TUNE IN

Pause, take a deep breath or two, then acknowledge and validate what stress your holding. In doing this you took the first and important step of being intentional.

PLAN

Consider this: if we are ones holding “our” stress, then we’re the ones who can let it go. Make a list of three things you might do in this moment that will refresh your mind and body. Now pick one for this moment.

BE YOUR BEST

You’ve regained your focus and are about to spark new, positive energy.  Taking action on your choice and doing it now completes the third step of resilience. Repeat often, especially when you need it most.
