The Three Steps of Resilience
…your actionable process that works to regain your focus, spark new, positive energy and is your catalyst for lasting growth.
The Three Steps of Resilience
…your actionable process that works to regain your focus, spark new, positive energy and is your catalyst for lasting growth.
How to Use the Three Steps of Resilience
1. Select the purpose (that most applies).
2. Tune In: Describe or list your primary and secondary sources of pain, stressors and needs.
3. Plan: List your options—thoughts, feeling and actions—that may help you regain your focus, spark new and positive energy, and move forward.
4. Be Your Best: Follow-through and act on your choice(s), and now describe what you experience and what you learned.
5. Complete and send. Now give yourself some well-deserved credit, and even celebrate this time of being your best.
Resilience Tips
- First take a few deep breaths, invite peace into this moment and make this quality “me time”
- Especially when using it for the purpose of this moment, repeating the steps will be helpful and may be necessary
- Remember, the level of pain and stress is best matched by an equal level of intentionality
